then again, getting good grades is supposed to be a million times better than just making a song..even if its awesome..

anyway, this was overall pretty great, i loved the tune. the beat suited the song, sometimes i thought the kick was just a little loud at some quiet parts so it sounded a bit sharp. oh. nevermind. the beat was too loud over the rest of the song. there. that makes better sense :/
it would sound a lot better if u added in a bass there, because some parts seeemed a little too empty.
but i really love the melody, it reminds me a little of linkin park. . .
the progression with the strings is lovely, it adds a nice feel.

1) beat is too loud.
i agree... lol. i also think my hihats sound like crap.

2) some parts are too empty, add a bass.
i also think one or two more bg instruments would make it sound more complete... and a bass is a good idea.

3) late strings.
im pretty sure ive placed the strings just right... but the full strings in the edirol orchestral always kinda just fade themselves in making them seem a lil late... so i have no idea how to fix that lol.

first thing off, the beat's too repetitive..the song isn't bad, i just don't like it as much as your others. it seemed to lack something the others did. it had a variety of sounds, like always [i admire that] , but this one didn't play anything other than a few notes most of the way, i felt. it felt like a dark, dry loop that kept coming back, challenging me to review it.
yeah, the music talks to me.

but :D the title does seem to suit this very well, and i can really see this in a flash, where you're focusing on the actual flash but the music in the back keeps the mood going in that sort of darkish, i'm gonna fight you-kind of way.
please tell me when i start making sense to you. anyway. sorry this review was late, i like to catch up on stuff on time D:

not bad

the beginning sounded beautiful. it was nice and kind of soothing.
the only thing that bugged me was the string in the background; it came a little too late--its sounds better at the end, though, since you let it extend itself.
very nice, overall.

pretty sweet.
the beginning was all like, yeah. everything's alright. just hanging around. then
whoaa
all of a sudden we got ourselves a sweet rhythm.
the only thing that i think needs fixing is the bass around 30 seconds. can't hear it. not much, anyway. but it's not bad since it was repetitive, and it was like it had to go silent for a bit while the beat took over.
i found this in a flash i came upon. an annoyingly addicting and frustrating game :)

Yes, that game is quite addicting, but very fun nevertheless!

I think I made the bass a little quieter on purpose so it wouldn't over power the other stuff.

doesn't sound bad :)

the only this i don't like about this is that it's pretty much a loop throughout the whole song. i can tell when there's a different pattern--but of course if this is for a game, it has to be repetitive. still, it gets annoying by the time it plays over. i was going to say the end is too abrupt, compared to the rest of the song since its all ambient and sort of echoey, but since it loops, then it fits well.
i think maybe you could add just little more sound throughout the song, make it a little more fluffy :D
other than that, this is good. you used fl right?

the remix is okay, but i really don't like it all that much. some stuff really doesn't match or harmonize, and that's the thing that got me. the piano wasn't bad, tho. it just sounded like all the other instruments (strings especially) were trying hard to keep up in speed and quality

hey, i totally agree with GronmonSE

the fact that it was pretty much a repetition didn't make it that great for the overall song.
HOWEVER,
i love the piano and strings. i feel like they were put in at the wrong time.
and i love the FEEL of the song. it feels emotionally powerful, (i love the very beginning, like u said :P) but the clicky hit hats ruin it. if it was a little less clacky and more "shh" sounding (but not overly un-clacky,..am i making sense? o.O)

the kick i am in love with. (play around a little with it a little more..its constantly beating at the same rate with no variation whatsoever) [but the intensity and unclackyness was perfect, that's why i love it :D)

the harmonies i am in love with. (WAY TOO REPETITIVE) [they sound wonderful]

the bass i want to kill. (it sounds too roughish and sharp for the rest of the song) [the actual melody it plays isn't bad]

the piano was a nice touch. (it came too late) [it sounds great]

overall, this has a SHITLOAD OF POTENTIAL, just like GronmonSE said.
you definitely need to add some variation and verse,
the piano does not make up for lack of verse!
however, if i was reading some book or manga or something, i might not have noticed the over-repetition, because the song sticks with its mood throughout the song.
also. way too long, especially because of the repetition.
(right now you may just feel like shouting at the word repetition right now <:D)

i like the beat.

the beat was nice--it was a little loud though.
the song was fairly nice, it sounded simple enough. simple is good, because sometimes too many sounds mushed together don't sound very good, even whenin harmony. it all depends on the mood of the song.
i have a feeling that writing this review is utterly pointless, since i've noticed your pattern of not responding to them, but i liked the song enough to leave some input.what impressed me was the melody-->its great even if the sound quality were to be bad. those kinds of things usually catch me. the actual SONG.
i've listened to a couple of your piece but i think this is your best one.

lol i think nijmegen means the tone of the song..

it sounds funny in a way that it sounds like something cute and silly (maturely) trying to act all dangerous and crap
haha i like the tone of the song, but
a lot of the sounds don't together very well. especially where the beat gets fast at certain measures and the rest of the song doesn't seem to catch up--they just go off in their own world.
i like the beat in a way, it sounds original. the melodies sound great, but its badly put together in ways that just don't fit.
however, it that gets fixed, it goes to pretty much a 10
i like this :D
i know the bass is repetitive (and the beat), but sometimes its hard to notice that with the bass because of other sounds in the song that make it interesting. but after i listen to this a couple times (it just stopped playing twice) you get tired of it. mayben if it was a little shorter..
