I love the cello.

It was a genereally beautiful piece. I love the soft, mellow tone to it.
What you might want to do is louden the piano a bit, it's a tad too soft to be heard nicely. Plus it makes the cello tiring after a while.
I love when the two cellos come together.
I play the bass, I hope to switch to the cello next year :)
Nice ending, by the way. Sweet little piece. I think your girlfriend will appreciate this. I can so see it--you composing, she playing :)

You would give it a 9. Ruining my perfect 10 streak! lol imma jk. To be honest, I think a lot of what you didn't like can be fixed in a different recording I have saved in WAV format, therefore incompatible with Newgrounds. I had to settle for the lesser mp3 version.

*Note to all that take the time to read review responses: A superior recording can be obtained by providing me with your email address and asking for it. It really is a very different sound.

Specifically, the piano is louder and has a much better ring to it, making it sound much less synthesized. The cello is more expressive sometimes, although the only complaint that can be made is that the cello is a little awkwardly inconsistent in the way it plays some notes... but overall I like it much better. Yes, cello, the beautiful, mellow string instrument. I respect all of its players. Ah, so you liked the ending this time! Yeah, me too. At least the piano part. The synthesized cello sounds a little funny... I sure hope she plays it. I can play most of the piano part, so that'd be pretty cool... I can dream at least.
Thanks a lot Vesta

Hehe, I think crepth just summed it up for you :D

The beat is wicked, and I like the easygoing yet very 'awake' melody. This makes me feel more alert, but with a sort of coolness. I saw the title and was all, "Hmm. Heavy metal? Better be good to be on the top 5." And what do you know.
It's a lot better than good, and it actually sounds industrial, with some heavy, low sounds that give it its Awesome Feel.
It's also the dirty, complex industrial sounds, which basically sound like awesome mixing and scraps of sounds jumbled together in an awesome song. (I just love that word today xD)
Kudos on this! It is Pure Awesomeness (there it is again..)
You know what's weird? Okay, off-topic, but I've been saying that phrase for a while now, and I'm seeing it everywhere now! D:
Anyway, I voted 4 mistakenly. This deserves a 5.
-Vesta J
(that's one AWESOME bass .. XD)

Dude, you got skills.

A 10 because of its outstanding originality and randomness, its superb recording and melody. Your voice is perfect for this type of song, and I am very impressed by the whole song, overall.
Just a little thing you got to fix, though. There is about 30 seconds of complete silence at the end. Trim it off; it's unnecessary.
Other than that, I think I've said enough. Great melody, theme, voice, and everything was in sync. I don't think I heard a single thing wrong.
Excellent! I just voted you 5. Didn't make much of a difference, though, since you're currently at a 4.85
XD

Done! Thanks heaps for letting me know - I accidentally left it running and forgot to snip!

Glad you like the song though ;)

Banish the authorities..

Haha! Excellent song, mates.
All aspects of the song were just glowing perfection! Nice voice, lol.
The bass and the synth leads were an awesome touch to the song, and were well in sync. The drums were always in time, and I like the little slow down at 3:15, and it still contained the same upbeatness. Awesome melody, by the way. This is by far the best done vocal song on all of NG. I am very impressed by its professional sound and the overall theme and hilarity. Personally I don't agree, but your voice is convincing :D
Remove the police!
This is a definite add to my faves.

*10 minutes later*
"Remove...police.."

Ambience at its best.

At first, the bird chirping was getting a little extra, but now I realized that was pointless to say. Anyhow.
The bass was PERFECT. Not too loud, but definitely nicely put in to be recognized and appreciated.
I love the overall vibe of the song, although it doesn't really make me thinking of winter at first. I guess it's the birds..there's really none in winter.
Anyway, this is very nicely put together, it's soothing, and the rhythm is nice and easygoing. The piano was smooth, and the flute? I love to death. Amazing work, very professional sounding. You have my 5.

NemesisTheory responds:

Much love! I hear birds sometime during the winter early in the morning, but maybe I was insane those days. Could've been that just as easily, tbh.

I'm glad you dug the song! I should do something like this again soon... <3

You've already brought the funk, dude.

This is probably the best I've heard in a while. Very professionally funk sounding ;D
And the theme? I cannot not love. This hath stopped me from doing my hmwrk. Which is good and bad, lol.
Don't let the funk stop! ;D

Bezo responds:

Well, I can't take credit for the instrumental backing, due to the Magic Garage Band nature of it, but I appreciate the chance to disrupt your education. Thanks a lot.

5 team? o.O

I think was pretty good, the crowd cheering made it seem kinda of real, but also made it just a little bothersome in a way. Still, the tune was catchy. I think the only main piss off is the bass. It didn't seem loud and clear enough.
And the ending. Way too abrupt. If you want it to seem real and filled with energy, that's fine, but it was the crowd that did it. When it ended, it sounded like it got cut off. Fading out the crowd would sound more realistic.
However, I'm impressed with the overall progression. And the kick was good.
-Vesta J

very nice.

the piano was the best part, and the pads in the background definitely added a soothing feel to it, kind of forcing you to relax
>:D lol
Teh guitars especially make it a homey feeling..it feels..really disarming. Makes me think of exploration, walking through a garden of memories :D
Nice work, I'm glad I came across this :)

VenoMuk responds:

Thanks, that was the effect i was going for when i made this song, im glad you enjoyed it thanks for the review!

now 4.54!

Yay, my vote counts so much xD
Anyway, I was looking in the ambience section and I was like, oh! It's Reasoner again. Lemme check this track out.
And guess what? Outstanding work, AGAIN. I think what you really accomplished here was the steady tempo along with a natural, carefree piano in sync. It sounds like exploration...made me think of open space; either in water, space, or spring fields. But more the former two.
So like I said, creating a certain mood and a smooth melody seems to come quite naturally to you. I'm amazed at your work, you are now in my favs O_O
Lol, I don't usually state that plainly.
Anyhow. Au revoir, ciao, adios, namaste, good day ":D
-Vesta J

Reasoner responds:

Thanks for the in depth reviews on all of my songs. I appreciate you taking the time to critique them and hope they have taken your thoughts away from reality for at least a few minutes.

haha

Another 10! So far this is my 4th review, I think..
My, I must really add you to my favorites since I keep coming back to your songs. Like after the first one, ?I decided not to. But then I did. And then again. And now.
T.T
LOL back to the review. Another impressive one, I like the theme you have here too, buddy. And how dare you call yourself an amateur composer..?! To me, I am an amateur. You're close to professional.. at least in the type of music that you work with.
I foured the first two songs, but now I'm reconsidering. That's why this one and the last one I fived. Because it makes sense :D
I guess I have nothing else to say for this amazingness..
-Vesta J

Reasoner responds:

I appreciate the compliment, but as long as my writings continue to be on my weekends, and not as a way of life I'm afraid I'm going to have to list myself as amateur. Thanks for the five and five. Whoot whoot!
